Concerts with Daniel Barenboim

In the Pierre Boulez Saal’s second season, Daniel Barenboim remains the center of artistic creativity, once again appearing as pianist, chamber musician, conductor, and mentor. In a newly formed trio with Michael Barenboim and Kian Soltani, he will perform Beethoven’s complete piano trios. A solo recital is dedicated to the piano music of Claude Debussy, commemorating the 100th anniversary of the composer’s death. And together with the Boulez Ensemble, Daniel Barenboim will present the world premieres of newly commissioned works by Luca Francesconi, Benjamin Attahir, and Aribert Reimann.
