Two Anniversary Concerts

What started out as a workshop for musicians from Israel and Palestine soon became an orchestra celebrated around the world and a powerful symbol for the peaceful dialogue of different cultures: the West-Eastern Divan Orchestra, founded 20 years ago by Daniel Barenboim and Edward W. Said. To celebrate this special anniversary, the orchestra will perform two concerts at the Berlin Philharmonie. Maestro Barenboim will be joined by Anne-Sophie Mutter and Yo-Yo Ma for Beethoven’s Triple Concerto and will also conduct Bruckner’s Ninth Symphony.

As regular visitors of the Pierre Boulez Saal, we are pleased to offer you exclusive advance access to this extraordinary concert event, before tickets go on sale to the general public. From April 17 to May 1 only, you will find both concert dates listed in your customer account of the Pierre Boulez Saal online shop. Our ticket hotline will also be available during this period by calling +49 30 4799 7477.
