The German Music Foundation was founded in 1962 by devoted individuals in support of young and exceptionally talented musicians in Germany. Fifty-five years since its inception, thereof twenty-five years with an operative program, initiatives include the German Music Instruments Fund – a collaborative effort with the Federal Republic of Germany – own concert series, successful cooperations, and extensive scholarship and sponsorship programs. The goal of the Foundation has always been, and will remain, to support stipendiaries as they live out their dreams of successful careers in music.
