Born in 1936 in Argentina, the son of Eastern European immigrants, Giora Feidman moved to Israel at the age of 21 and for almost two decades was a member of the Israel Philharmonic Orchestra. Since the early 1970s, he has been performing klezmer music all over the world, becoming the genre’s best-known interpreter. Now the legendary clarinetist comes to the Pierre Boulez Saal for a duo recital, for which he is joined by Kinan Azmeh.
