In his place, young Icelandic baritone Jóhann Kristinsson, a recent prize winner of the International Vocal Competition “Das Lied” in Heidelberg, will he heard together with his piano partner Ammiel Bushakevitz. Schumann’s Liederkreis Op. 39 on poems by Eichendorff will be performed as originally announced, in addition to songs by Mahler and Wolf.
