Menahem Pressler

Robert Schumann

Scenes from Childhood op. 15

Approximate running time: 2h with one intermission

He is a living legend among the pianists of our time: Menahem Pressler, born in 1923, has performed on the world's leading concert stages for more than 70 years, over 50 of them as a foudning member of the Beaux Arts Trio, which disbanded in 2008. After having to cancel his concert at the Pierre Boulez Saal last September due to illness, he will now be heard in Berlin's new concert hall with a slightly revised program, centered, as before, around Schumann's Kinderszenen.
