For the third time, the annual Barocktage festival of the Staatsoper Unter den Linden brings together leading ensembles and outstanding artists for ten days of music in Berlin. As in previous seasons, the Pierre Boulez Saal joins the Staatsoper to host several concerts. This year, the festival focuses on two composers of different generations who were instrumental in shaping the transition from the Baroque to the Classical era: Christoph Willibald Gluck and Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart.

In their duo recital, Nicolas Altstaedt and Alexander Lonquich perform works by Mozart and early cello sonatas by Ludwig van Beethoven.

Barocktage 2020 – A production of Staatsoper Unter den Linden in cooperation with the Pierre Boulez Saal.
