The Art of the Duo

“The Art of the Duo” is a collaboration between Syrian clarinetist and composer Kinan Azmeh—a frequent guest during the Pierre Boulez Saal’s 2017 opening season—and Sri Lankan–born Canadian pianist and composer Dinuk Wijeratne. The two artists fuse Arabic and south-eastern Asian traditions with classical and jazz idioms to create a new sound world.
