On three evenings during the Schubert Week, the Pierre Boulez Saal welcomes young singers who are about to embark on an international career.
Chinese mezzo-soprano Yajie Zhang and German tenor Kieran Carrel both return after participating in the festival last season: Zhang was previously heard in recital, Carrel as part of the workshop. They are joined by Hartmut Höll, one of the leading lied pianists of our time, who will also coach the young artists over the course of the Schubert Week.
