Just before the holidays, the Akademie für Alte Musik Berlin comes to the Pierre Boulez Saal with a colorful collection of Baroque music for Christmas. Joined by soprano Roberta Mameli, most recently heard in Berlin as Monteverdi’s Poppea at the Staatsoper Unter den Linden, the ensemble performs vocal works by Handel, Vivaldi, and Nicola Porpora. The program also includes concerti by Arcangelo Corelli and Evaristo Felice dall’Abaco.
