Born in 2007, Alexandra Dovgan came to international attention with her prize-winning performance at the 2018 Grand Competition for Young Pianists in Moscow. She currently studies with Mira Marchenko at the music school of the Tchaikovsky Conservatory and recently appeared at the Salzburg Festival, Amsterdam’s Concertgebouw, and the Berlin Philharmonie, among other major venues. The young artist makes her Pierre Boulez Saal debut performing works by Beethoven, Schumann, and Chopin.
