One of the most aventurous musicians of our time, mandolin player Avi Avital presents a program of wide-ranging repertoire that displays the astonishing stylistic possibilities of his instrument, pairing Bach and Ravel with contemporary composers David Bruce, Goffredo Petrassi, and Kareem Roustom. Avital is joined by an instrumental ensemble and harpsichordist Kristian Bezuidenhout.
