Classical mandolinist Avi Avital has performed anything from Bach to Bartók to traditional melodies. Bassist and oud virtuoso Omer Avital is an acclaimed jazz musician and composer. Together, the two artists draw on the diverse influences of sounds and rhythms from around the Mediterranean to create a musical experience in which the elegance of chamber music meets the energy of jazz.
