Poems by Ludwig Hölty and Johan Baptist Mayrhofer are at the center of the recital program presented by Julian Prégardien as part of the Pierre Boulez Saal’s Schubert cycle. The rising tenor, who has also won acclaim for his performance of Hans Zender’s “composed interpretation” of Schubert’s Winterreise, is joined for this program by pianist Martin Helmchen.
