Following their prizewinning recordings of Mendelssohn and Schubert symphonies, the Kammerakademie Potsdam and its music director Antonello Manacorda recently embarked on another major project: a complete recording of the symphonies of Ludwig van Beethoven, parts of which are being produced in cooperation with the Pierre Boulez Saal. For the monumental Ninth Symphony, the orchestra is joined by an international quartet of acclaimed soloists and the Prague-based Collegium Vocale 1704.
