A few days after the premiere of Luca Francesconi’s opera Quartett, which receives its first German-language production at the Staatsoper Unter den Linden, members of the Staatskapelle Berlin perform a selection of Francesconi’s ensemble works as well as music by Luciano Berio. The musical program is complemented with texts by Heiner Müller, the opera’s librettist, read by Brigitte Maria Mayer and Anna Müller.
