In a new concert series, the Pierre Boulez Saal presents young artists and ensembles who are on the brink of an international career. For the first concert, cellist Kian Soltani—already a veteran of the Pierre Boulez Saal who performed in a number of concerts during the opening season—is joined by pianist Aaron Pilsan for a program mixing Romantic and contemporary compositions, including a suite of Persian folk songs by Iranian composer Reza Vali.
