For the third time, the annual Barocktage festival of the Staatsoper Unter den Linden brings together leading ensembles and outstanding artists for ten days of music in Berlin. As in previous seasons, the Pierre Boulez Saal joins the Staatsoper to host several concerts. This year, the festival focuses on two composers of different generations who were instrumental in shaping the transition from the Baroque to the Classical era: Christoph Willibald Gluck and Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart.

Les Musiciens du Louvre, led by Francesco Corti, are joined by members of the Staatsoper’s International Opera Studio and guest artists for a concert performance of Gluck’s 1754 opera Le cinesi.
