Ever since presenting a solo recital at the Pierre Boulez Saal just a few weeks after its opening in the spring of 2017, Naseer Shamma, one of today’s great masters of the oud, has been closely associated with the hall, not least as curator of the Arabic Music Days. He now returns to present new works for his instrument in what is sure to be a special and intimate evening.
