For almost 20 years the West-Eastern Divan Orchestra has been known as an ambassador for cultural understanding. At this year’s Waldbühne concert, the young musicians from the Middle East and Northern Africa are joined by Lisa Batiashvili for Tchaikovsky’s Violin Concerto. Daniel Barenboim also conducts two works by Debussy.
