On three evenings during the Schubert Week, the Pierre Boulez Saal welcomes young singers who are about to embark on an international career.
Mezzo-soprano Ema Nikolovska—born in Macedonia and raised in Canada—returns after her debut appearance last season. American baritone Michael Sean Plumb joins her for the third of this year’s “Young Singers” concerts, with Wolfram Rieger, professor of lied interpretation at Berlin’s “Hanns Eisler” School of Music, at the piano.
