In four programs this season, acclaimed Russian singers present rarely heard song repertoire from their native country. The series opens with soprano Olga Peretyatko and pianist Elena Bashkirova, who perform Prokofiev’s settings of texts by Russian poet Anna Akhmatova, Shostakovich’s Seven Romances, composed in 1967 for the unusual combination of soprano voice and piano trio, and songs by Mikhail Glinka and Sergej Rachmaninoff.
Please note that you must wear a protective mask (FFP2 or N95 mask) during your entire visit to the Pierre Boulez Saal. A simple mouth and nose covering such as a fabric mask, scarf, bandana, etc. is not sufficient. By implementing this measure we aim to offer more visitors the opportunity to participate in upcoming events. Details can be found under our protection and hygiene measures
